Final Fantasy VII Advent Children?
[edit]Final Fantasy VII Advent Children is a movie, not a Famicom game. This should be removed. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 71.74.162.173 (talk) 00:01, 19 June 2009 (UTC)
- Astonishingly enough, that entry was correct. I've replaced it (in the "unlicensed games" list, as those are now separate). —Twice Nothing (talk) 05:23, 4 September 2021 (UTC)

Why is there a link to Ed Morrissey in the header of this page?
[edit]Question as above. Ed Morrissey has nothing to do with the NES or Famicom, and neither are mentioned on his Wiki page. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 24.18.125.125 (talk • contribs) 2021-05-12T18:53:25 (UTC)
- Apparently it's because "Captain Ed" is both a) the name of a Famicom game (not notable enough for its own article, but listed here) and b) a nickname used by Ed Morrissey. However, a') Captain Ed doesn't actually redirect here (apparently due to historical merge/split shenanigans), and b') some casual web searches for "Captain Ed" don't turn up Ed Morrissey.
- I've fixed the redirect, and adjusted the hatnote to use the usual template. I'm not sure whether or how to address the other matter. —Twice Nothing (talk) 05:07, 4 September 2021 (UTC)

- List of Family Computer games → List of Famicom games
- List of Family Computer Disk System games → List of Famicom Disk System games
– Approximately no one calls it the "Family Computer" in English. These pages were previously moved to their current names under the reasoning that "Family Computer" was the official name; but, per Wikipedia policy (WP:COMMONNAME and WP:OFFICIAL), this is not relevant. —Twice Nothing (talk) 05:38, 4 September 2021 (UTC)
- Support: I have viewed some articles relevant to this discussion. I feel this request is valid and should be moved as requested. Note: The article Family Computer Disk System was moved to Famicom Disk System 20 January 2020. Nintendo Entertainment System#Family Computer Disk System is therefor an outdated title with an outdated link to Family Computer Disk System due to the redirect. I have not edited this because of the current discussion. Memory management controller#Famicom Disk System appears to be up to date in regards to the RM. — CJDOS, Sheridan, OR (talk) 19:04, 5 September 2021 (UTC)
- Support per nom, it's always Famicom. Surprised this move lasted 9 years, but oh well. SnowFire (talk) 20:37, 7 September 2021 (UTC)
- Strong Support per nom. Just move it lol Jizzygizzyfoshizzyyy (talk) 13:21, 10 September 2021 (UTC)
